A.Something About Scholarship

The STI West Negros University Scholarship Office provides opportunities to qualified and deserving students through scholarship and financial assistance to enable them to continue with their studies and finish a degree.

STI West Negros University is extending scholarships to students who excel in academic , cultural , sports and co-curricular. Poor but deserving and hardworking students who are willing to work as student assistants are also given the scholarship. It also provides student access to scholarship and financial assistance granted by the University , CHED , Government , Non-government institutions, and other partner industries.

B. STI General Scholarship Policy

I. The University Scholarship Program’s thrust is to acknowledge the excellent endeavors of the students in the areas of academic pursuit, student-assistantship, artistic talent, sports aptitude and co-curricular leadership.

II. The University Scholarship Program is initiated by the University administration for the benefit of the STI Wesnican students and shall therefore be waived depending on the financial capability of the University.

III. Scholarships are classified in the following:

  • C.1. Admission Exam Result
  • C.2. General Weighted Average ( Form 138 )
  • C.3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • C.4. Certified True Copy of Birth Certificate (SECPA)
  • C.5. Bio-data with Two copies 2”x 2 recent colored pictures
  • C.6. Application Letter / Letter of Intent
  • C.7. Medical Certificate signed by University Physician
